Geax is proud to announce its partnership with Cameron Zink, distinguished slopestyle and gravity athlete who will ride Geax tires
and represent the brand in these disciplines for the 2009 season. Cam is the first US gravity pro ever sponsored by Geax.
“Cam will play a vital role in the exposure of our brand and products, and will be an essential part of the further development of our
gravity and extreme use tires” said Ryan DeLong, North American Marketing Manager for the Vittoria Group. “It’s a relationship
we’re very excited about.”
Cam has been in the spotlight since his 2006 win at Crankworx in Whistler, BC. He’s maintained his celebrity status through
numerous wins and consistent top finishes in many events that followed.
As for Cam’s take on the relationship “When changing tire companies after so many years with something more familiar, different
products can present new challenges, but Geax has some incredible new tires that will make the transition very easy for me. The new
line of Geax tires give me an excellent range to cover all of my needs as a pro rider, with some progressive compounds, tread designs,
and sidewalls. This is a tire change I’m looking forward to!”
Cam will use a broad range of Geax tires, including the new Neuron triple compound, DHEA, Booze Light, Tattoo Light, and
Saguaro. Cam’s competition tires will utilize Geax’s proprietary TNT (Tube/No Tube) technology.
